Maryland's 9/11 Rolling Memorial

Maryland’s 9/11 Rolling Memorial was unveiled and dedicated on Sunday September 11th 2016.  It is Maryland’s first and only 9/11 rolling memorial and was created in remembrance and honor of the 69 Marylanders killed on Tuesday September 11th 2001 and the 158 others who have made the supreme sacrifice in the war on terror since that horrific day. The memorial will not only be used for our 9/11 events but also showcased in local and state parades and taken to schools, scout meetings, and community events to be used as a teaching tool. We will share information on the funds, foundations and events that have been created in their memory. These families have lost one life but are helping and supporting 100’s if not 1000’s of other lives because of their loss.

Request the Maryland 9/11 Rolling Memorial at your next event

Maryland’s 9/11 Rolling memorial has been featured at over 200 events across the states of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina since 2016. Attendees are humbled to read the names of those killed on 9/11 and in the wars since that horrific day and to be able to see and touch steel from the North Tower of the World Trade Center and stone from the Pentagon.

We will also display 15-20 artifacts from Ground Zero and the Pentagon and personal items from those killed on 9/11 or who responded during the aftermath.

In 2021 we partnered with Michelle and Clifton Cottom, Asia Cottom’s parents to giveaway free copies of Asia’s New Wings. The Cottom’s wrote the book to share who Asia was and of their story of loss and healing. Asia was one of three DC area 11-year-old 6th graders who was aboard hijacked American Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon. We will have plenty of free copies to hand out.

At most events we request that we can sell merchandise and place out a donation bucket to help us further our mission of keeping the promise to NEVER FORGET!
